Professional Life:

My name is Jake Sip, I am 25 years old, and I am a Mechanical Engineer. I am currently in the last semester of my Bachelors Degree. In May of 2019 I will graduate from SUU with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Marketing. In previous occupations I have played the role of Machinist, Welder, and Woodworker. These skills, with my knowledge of mechanical engineering, recently led me to participate in an internship for Justin Custom Guns in Toquerville Utah. This internship gave me the opportunity to design and prototype new products. I hope that in the future to combine my knowledge of design, manufacturing, and marketing, to create new consumer products that will help people in their everyday lives.

Personal Life:

My hometown is in Toquerville Utah. I have been happily married for 4 years and I have a 2 year old son. I served a mission for the LDS church speaking Spanish in the Fort Collins Colorado from ages 19 - 21. I like to spend my spare time rebuilding my 2007 Subaru WRX.
